This is a part-time hybrid role for a 3D Developer at OVRLAY in Sarajevo. The 3D Developer will be integral in designing and implementing advanced 3D features and functionalities within Unreal Engine using Blueprints and ideally Unity using .NET frameworks. The role involves collaboration with our design and development team to produce immersive 3D worlds and solutions tailored for our clients.
OVRLAY is a technology-driven expert for immersive experiences in the digital space. We create multi-layered connections for our customers on three levels:
- Staging: Create desire for products and services through digital 3D experiences
- Interaction: Provide personalised digital engagement through Al-supported communication
- Transaction: Create value from digital assets and enable new use cases through web3 services
We work on the basis of ISAE 3402 and ISO 27001 certified processes at our locations in Munich (Germany) and Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
About the role

Responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine especially with blueprints
- Knowledge of Unity development using .NET is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Previous experience in the gaming or virtual reality industry is highly advantageous.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Unreal Engine and Unity: Proficient in using Unreal Engine's Blueprints and ideally Unity's .NET frameworks to develop and integrate complex 3D functionalities.
- Technical Skills in 3D Development: Strong skills in 3D modeling, animation, and rendering techniques. Ability to implement smooth movements, complex interactions, and detailed animations in 3D spaces.
- Collaboration and Integration: Able to work closely with graphic artists and other team members to seamlessly integrate visual elements and interactive features into 3D environments.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve development challenges, enhancing the user experience in 3D applications.
- Innovative Thinking: Creative and innovative thinking to design and develop cutting-edge 3D worlds and solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and articulate ideas and technical concepts.
